French Intensive Programs for Adults

By combining our core French program with conversation workshops, you can study and experience the French language and culture in an unparalleled way. A true French immersion experience.

Core French: (Monday to Friday 8am to 11am). The core French courses consists of 7-levels, based on the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages. Students develop all four skills: listening, speaking, reading and writing, in addition to attention to the study of grammar and phonetics. There is an average of 4 to 8 students per class.

Conversation Workshops: (Monday to Friday 11:30am to 1pm). Conversation workshops cover themes related to culture, current events, literature, cinema, music and whatever else the teachers feel inspired to prepare! These workshops give you with the opportunity to learn and express yourself in French.

French for Tourism and Hospitality with Work Placement (Co-op Program)

The French for Tourism and Hospitality Co-op program is designed for students who wish to pursue a career in tourism and to learn French. Students learn French through an extensive language program, complemented by workshops on French for Tourism and Hospitality. The student is also required to participate in an internship which provides hands-on experience.

The program equips the student with knowledge, skills and experience to work in the tourism and hospitality sector where French is an asset.

French Summer Courses for Adults

From June 18nd to August 10th, 2012

- French Courses - 9am to noon:
The French courses are structured in 8 levels, based on the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages. Students develop all four skills: listening, speaking, reading and writing, in addition to attention to the study of grammar and phonetics. There are on average of 10 to 15 students per class.

- Afternoon Workshops - Starting at 1pm:
Workshops offer an opportunity to practice and improve oral fluency through entertaining and diverse workshops (conversation, dramatic arts, cooking, photography, music, French Teaching Workshop).

- Activities and Excursions - Evenings and Weekends:
Our activities coordinator has prepared a schedule which include rich cultural activities every day, including weekends. Students have the option of pre-registering to weekend excursions or registering to activities once in the school. Consult the activities calendar to see what we have planned.

Summer French School for Teenagers (12-17yrs)

July 2nd to August 10th, 2012

The summer French immersion school for teenagers has been offered every summer since 2005. Through this summer camp, hundreds of teenagers live and learn French in Quebec City. This highly international program welcomes students from over 20 countries.

- French Classes:
Morning French classes, from 8:30am to 11:45am, are organized in 7 levels, and help students develop all four skills: listening, speaking, reading and writing, in addition to attention to the study of grammar and phonetics.

- Afternoon Programs:
Participants can select from a wide variety of afternoon programs. Afternoon options are pre-selected on a week-by-week basis (as in a student can be registered to a different afternoon program every week).

Multi-Activity and multi-sports programs are operated directly by our team. They offer students fun and varied activities every afternoon. The art programs and sport programs are mostly offered in collaboration with local partners and provide students with an opportunity to mix with local teenagers.
