Language topics are chosen to stimulate lively discussions in class. The emphasis is firmly placed on helping your child improve their listening and speaking skills. This is facilitated by using a wide range of classroom activities including role-play, games, drama, pair-work and group-work. We also teach grammar, which our teachers make memorable and relevant by applying to real life language situations.

We employ highly-qualified, native-speaking English language teachers who are typically young and enthusiastic and really know how to inspire young students. Each school also has a qualified and experienced Director of Studies who oversees the programme of English teaching.

On arrival, all students are tested for their grammar, written English and spoken English. They are then placed in a multi-national class, composed of boys and girls of similar age and ability.

If your child feels they are at the wrong level they are welcome to discuss this with their teacher. Teachers will also carry out weekly progress assessments which may help to identify if a student is better suited to a different class.
